Manchester City Win the Premiership

Born a Manchester City fan and will die a Manchester City fan: yesterday, the 12th May 2012, saw City take the title. After years of pain and suffering, through relegation, lost derbies and too many conceded goals to count, we did it. Congratulations to the fans, and especially the group of loyal supporters who have supported me and my family through our shared love of football. From the summer afternoon wins in beer gardens to the cold church mornings christening our children after great players, you have been the greatest support network that my family and I could have asked for: allies, godparents and friends. Here's to this season and to Stephen Hall's 50th birthday. It may have taken half a century Dad, but we got here together.
